Question to those who do mma or any type of martial arts?

what are some creative bodyweight exercises to increase strength? I already know the basics like the pushups and different variations of it situps and pullups. I was looking for several different exercises that would work out the whole body. Any suggestions/Info would be appreciated

It depends on what type of muscle you are trying to build. Remember the anybody can put on muscle, but a runner and a football player with the same body type and muscle mass will have completely different muscles under a microscope.
What you are looking to build is explosive power and fast twitch muscle fiber. The best way to do this is irregular weight training. Kettle bells, sand bags, free weights…
The exercises you should be focussing on are the explosive movements. instead of grinding out 100 pushups. Do 50 explosive pushups and clap your hands twice after every push up. If you are weight training you want to make sure your focusing on sudden and abrupt movement. Also, be sure to note if done improperly these weight training exercises can be terrible on joints and muscles.
I would look up kettle bell… The archtype for irregular weight training.
Also be sure to stretch. Stretching is the most underutilized aspect of martial arts. Martial artists like bj penn and GSP are incredibly flexible and that flexibility plays so importantly into their guards. Other muscled out meat heads like keith jardine move slowly and awkwardly. That is because he is building the wrong type of muscle, and has horrible flexibility.
Focus on core body strength. Exercises that will improve the body as a whole instead of making one muscle bigger. Build these muscles with rotational work.(kettle bell again)

The Burpee Prison workout is great! Do a squat thrust with a jump at the end, walk to the other side of the room and do 2, walk to the other side and do 3…. etc… etc… to 20-30 or as many as you can.
Here’s some good examples below:

The absolute only way to increase strength is to lift heavy weights and eat a large diet of protein. Everything else will mostly just work on muscular endurance.
