hey guys. i need some opinions and advises from u. i know u can be helpful and honest. Male,24, 165lbs/75kg, 180cm/5′11 , trained with calisthenics (bodyweight exercises) before and just started a bench press program. 3 sets. first set, 10 reps of 176lbs/80kg, second set 8 reps of 187lbs/85kg and last set 2 reps of 200lbs/90kg. feel like i could do more for my last set if i didnt do 10 reps of 176lbs for the first set. my question is, is that ok for someone my size? is it average or above average? for someone my size. i just started a bench press program and thats what i did. is that average or above average? be honest please. because im new to this thing.

personally, id say thats pretty damn good if you only just started a bench press program although, because we dont know what your body type is, cant really judge.

im 17, been training for 2 years and i kinda do the same routine for my bench press. 1st set i do 12 reps of 60kg for a warm up then second set 10 reps of 80kg. third set is 8 reps of 90kg and then last set i try to push out around 6 reps of 100kg. so really, because your able to make me feel like ive wasted two years of my life… id say your okay :P
