Hi, I’m trying to get in shape(my goal is to build some muscle and to get a toned or ripped body). I was wondering if anyone knows of some routine or workout that only involves bodyweight exercises like push ups,sit ups, jumping jacks, chair dips, squats, etc. I know a lot of exercises, I just don’t know how to put them together.

*I need a bodyweight routine because I don’t have dumbbells or any kind of equipment.

take a capoeira class. I lost more than 20 pounds ina month. You burn like 1000 calories int hat class and build monster endurance.

Check out you tube for capoeira videos (pay attention to ones with sul de bahia and batuque in the name) THere is one particular video that caught my interest called capoeira prodigy.

Matt Furey puts out a “Combat Fitness” publication which I ordered several months ago. Basic stuff consisting of body weight kinds of things which I’ve found, personally, to be very good. Probably more so if I was actually more consistent with it. Even 20 minutes a day proves highly effective. Costs about 30 dollars. Google Matt Furey and check it out. In addition to helping myself become stronger and more energetic, I’ve eliminated my lower back and knee problems as well.
